Globe Ireland

GLOBE was relaunched in Ireland in September 2017 by An Taisce - The National Trust of Ireland with support from the Irish Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). 

GLOBE Ireland supports primary and secondary schools in Ireland engaging with GLOBE protocols, GLOBE Ireland citizen-science activities, solutions-oriented thinking and sustainable actions to protect and improve local environments.

Currently GLOBE Ireland focuses on the themes of Air Quality, River Ecosystems, Rainfall & Flooding - building climate resilience, Urban Heat Island - Surface temperature and Landcover, and Phenology.
